Dirt Devil UD20124 is rated at 8 Amps, featuring plenty of suction across its 11 inches (~28 cm) wide cleaning path. Main cleaner head features rotating brushroll which does a good job on both carpeted areas and bare floors. However, it would be nice to have brushroll switch/selector to turn the brushroll ON or OFF and perhaps to set the brushroll speed.
Brushroll is of rather conventional design, doing rather good job. On the other hand, it doesn’t feature mechanism for automatic removal of tangled hair, lint and fibers and that must be done manually by the user.
