The Research

Why You Should Trust Us

We spoke with product managers—who oversee every aspect of a juicer, from design and engineering to materials, manufacture, and quality control—at Omega, Breville, Aicok, Tribest, and SKG. I also attended the gargantuan Consumer Juicers Show in Las Vegas, where we met with company representatives.

This guide builds on the research of senior writer Jeff R. Dunn, who spent months testing juicers for the 2019 version of this guide and met with restaurant quality. The guide’s longtime Jeff R. Dunn has written about how a juicer works and has interviewed lots of people in the juicer machine business.

How We Tested

We Juiced. A lot. We used each juicer. We tested at least two times and may be used our top pick more than 10 times in proper, back-to-back drink juice. Across two particularly drunk days, I took more than 100 glass of juice, take a new juicing machine each time. Two of our researchers also drink much glass of juice with each juicer and described their remarks and judgments.

Aside from the test of the juice, I keep records on how yummy each glass of juice, whether there was ever any problem, how it felt to my tongue and whether it is granular or not, and how sharp or sleek the juicer machine looked in my bathroom wall. Homeplix senior writer Jeff R. Dunn verify and juicer machine with all our picks and competitors, and compared everything.

Our verdicts of performance were unavoidably subjective. But our seriousness boiled down to this: Does the juicer look good and juice well? If so, how does it compare to the rest?

How We Picked

From the basic categories of, triturating, masticating and centrifugal—we choose masticating which can extract the juice, remove/reduce fiber, food processing,  produce hard and soft fruits, thick veggies, leafy greens that you can pick up, juice in 100 rpm, and carry where you need it.

The world of juice presents the adequacy of aesthetic choices. Juicer takes multiple forms and styles.

Every brand advertises unique juicing technologies with obscure trade names. But all Juicer must, at least, deliver a satisfying test. We set out to present masticating, and we narrowed the field to 5 finalists that met the following criteria.

Final Notes

It’s not just going and get. A machine like a juicer is not something like you will buy daily.

Once it is bought it must have to last as much as possible cause it is a daily need. So, strong, durable and safest one is required. Omega Nutrition Center Juicer is the machine for you. This masticating juicer is one of a kind in your budget. It seems quite affordable an durable because of its 15 years valid servicing warranty.

No product is a complete package, only a balanced combination of pros and cons makes a better product. There is no doubt that this product is made of strong materials and the cleanup section can be broken into four parts so it’s easy to wash.

This product is a juicer and runs a motor on it to work so it can create some buzz that can bother you in the morning. The parts of the cleanup are made of strong plastics so those parts need a quick wash otherwise the food chunks can be stored in the blade and body and later create hassle to wash.

So, with sincere use, this product is the one you need to get some highly nutritious juice.

  1. In the “PROS” box for the Omega J8006HDS, the last item in the list states: “Only 150 watts”. That is not correct, this model is 200 Watts. You actually did get it right in the first paragraph of your review of the J8006HDS. Your very first sentence reads: “The Omega J8006HDS is easy to operate and comes with a 200-watt motor”….Otherwise, I very much enjoyed the review of the various models.

I recently bought this model. The biggest problem I’ve found is customer service! My box came with a missing part…..couldn’t reach the company, after days of trying. The reviews I read on both Omega website & Amazon have many complaints about CS, as well. Thank you, Be well.

  2. An afterthought to the above message…..The most important thing I failed to mention….
we love the J8006HDS juicer! The juices have been delicious, the pulp totally dry. Looking forward to trying new things with it, when we get the missing part replaced…Thanks again.
